Didn't do much today. Mom went CVS'ing again and she got me ALL kinds of stinky goodness and treats!!! MEOW! She even took my picture with the stash.
I got 2 packs of Temptations, 4 cups of Meow Mix stinkyness, 1 cup Wholesome Goodness stinky, 2 Whiskas pouches, and 1 pack of Meow Mix treats. That's 10 total!! Go Mommy! Meowk You! See why I love my Mommy so much?!?!
I will post a pic later b/c I am posting from Mommy's blackberry right now. Shhh she's sleeping...hehe!

P.S. After supper they were having yellow watermelon & cool whip...yum-o the cool whip was sooo good. I snuck some licks straight from the bowl when no on was looking..hehe

I am thankful for friends, food, family, sunny spots on the carpet, stinky goodness, a home to stay in AND...today I want to be extra thankful to my Daddy! I have given Mommy props before but not to Daddy yet. So, Daddy this one's for you!!!

Tuxie Tuesday:Bath Time

Yesterday was bath day! I actually did pretty well. That is up until Daddy wanted to dry me off. I wasnt going to have that. So, of course afterwards,I had to go give myself another bath. I can say that I am a very fluffy kitty now. I just need a good brushing and they can't find the comb. Guess they will have to get me another one.

Sharin' Some Lol's AND SADNESS...

I know all of those were meant to be funny, but today is a sad day. MontyQ's family are laying little Violette "Sprout" to rest today. She had a bad fall last weekend and past away. Mommy will be wearing purple and lighting candles for her. As well as taking a moment of silence. We are also mourniing loss of furries this week as well. Felix is one of them and will be missed.

Mommy: I honestly do not know what to say about Violette. I enjoyed seeing pictures of Voilette in MontyQ's blog, and having a baby boy that is 5 months old, I do not think I could go on if that happened to him, or to Landon. My prayers are with her family and I am about to cry as I type this, but it just leaves me speachless. I looked thru his blog again just now and pictured Eli or Landon...it's just really hitting me hard right now. Right after reading about Voilette on Sunday, I went to the store on Monday and got a call from my husband about the spider (Gizmo posted about a few days ago) which freaked me out. THEN, right before I pulled into the drive at home, I later came to find out that, Eli fell off the table! I had placed him in his carseat b/c he was going to go with me but didnt, buckled him into it and left him with Michael and Landon outside. Michael had unbuckled him b/c he was asleep and would be more comfy and sat the carseat on the table. He said something about how he propped his feet up must have made it wiggle over or something and then THUD! HE FELL FACE DOWN ON THE GRASS AND HIS CARSEAT LANDED ON TOP OF HIM!!! Of course having Voilette's story in my head, it scared me. I just checked him over and asked Michael if he was watching him. He said yes, but if he was he would have noticed the seat moving. It pissed me off and Eli was fussy for a good while afterwards. I was not happy with him. And it still puzzles me HOW he ended up falling off. The story I was given makes no sense to me. Plus, Eli was asleep and got a very rude awakening. My poor baby. But, all in all this makes me remember to stop and think about how lucky I am...we all are...for our families. Voilette, Sprout...you will be dearly missed. By family, friends, and of course the whole blogging kitty/dog/etc online family we have all come to love and cherish. It's things like this that make you realize that there are people out there who care for us who we have never even met.
So, I am sorry this has drug on and on, but I felt I needed to say my piece. There is a new angel in heaven. Gone too soon, but never forgotten...

Finally Friday

So, last night I helped mom eat her supper. She cooked tilapia (type of fish). It was good! And today is Friday, which means Daddy will be off work for two whole days! yay! I always greet him when he comes home. I stay hid a lot during the day because of the beans, but when 3:30 hits, the time he gets home, I''m out looking for him. If he's late I walk thru the house looking for him. I also have my special time with him each night before he goes to sleep. Patiently waiting in the doorway until he turn off the light and mom says it's ok to come up. Then I make my big leap and prepare for luvins and scritchins. This usually lasts maybe 15 minutes and then I head to the foot of the bed (at mommy's feet) and fall fast asleep. Mommy says that I snore, but I do not believe her. She has awaken me many times and told me to be quiet and not wake the baby. Apparently IF I do snore it's pretty loud, but again I am a girl and girls don't snore!!! hehe. Do any of you get told that you snore as well???

I love my Mommy!

And I want to introduce you all to my grandma's kitties! The first is Sandy, the male. He's the one that ran away! And came back after she got the white kitties. He is a Maine Coon kitty.






This is one of the whities. I'm not sure which. But, their names are Cloe, she wears a blue collar, and Snowy (Snowbell), she wears a red collar. September will be a year that Grandma got them! And right after she did, Sandy came home. He had jumped the fence and was gone about 3 months. People said they saw him here and there in her area and put food out. We also figure that he lived off mice and things in a small field near the houses as well. Then, they set a friendly trap and caught him! He was skinny and his voice was almost gone. Before he had the loudest meow they've ever heard, and he would hide and be skiddish. They also had to take him to the vet to be checked and given a GOOD bath. But, almost a year later and he is back to his happy self. He is still on the skinny side but he eats all the time. He gets 3(!!!) packs of stinky goodness a day along with his other dry food.

Lookout! DEER!!!!!

Thia is a photo of the baby deer (fawn) that my Mommy's step-dad, Steve, brought home from work this past Friday. He works for TVA and this isnt the first time he has brought an animal home. My first sister, Jewels (RIP 9/16/01), was also from his plant. So, grnadma called my Mommy and told her about it and then sent us this picture. She said that a man Steve works with is going to come get him and raise him. Said that he already has like 7 already! Wow! This man is really nice to raise these baby deer. Mommy asked what happened to his/her mother and she said that Steve said that his mommy just left him. All alone. Poor baby! But he's in good hands now.
While he was at my grandma's house he played in their backyard, and even hopped in their little pond/fountan with fish thingy!

Grandma said he was so cute running and jumping around out there. Mommy was going to take the boys to see him, but she was in town when she got the call and the boys were at home. Plus the man was coming to get him soon.

The Party is Finally Over!

Well, the title says it all. Saturday was Landon's 2nd birthday and there were like 50 people here in MY house. I stayed in my room all day (luckily I had food/water/litterbox in there). The invitations said 12-2pm. Why oh why do people think they can stay later than 2PM??? I'm taling going on 10pm, and people were still here!!! Seriously, mommy and Daddy didnt get anything cleaned up, and still didnt yesterday. They are very tired. Poor Mommy, she had to do the birthday cake THREE times because it kept sticking with everything she tried. So, grandmommy ended up getting one from Sam's and bringing it. The party itself went well. We had a family member dress up as Spongebob Squarepants as you will see in the pictures below. Hope everyone had a much calmer weekend. Well, I am off to go lay in the sun and nap.
